Building permit fees may be refunded if the applicant withdrew the application prior to commencing work. An inspection may be scheduled to verify that no work was completed. Refunds shall be the full value of the permit less $30 for processing the refund. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Supervisor of Permit Service. For additional information, please call 913-895-6205. No refunds will be issued for permits that have become invalid as specified in the building code. Plan review fees are non-refundable. 4.
